If you are looking for leftover Halloween candy ideas, I’ve got you covered! Stuff it in cookies, cakes, mix it with caramel corn–all sorts of ways to keep the homemade treats coming while using up the Halloween candy!
I hope everyone had a fun Halloween–and I hope most of you were able to stay drier than my little corner of the world. Because of all of the storms, we only went trick or treating one night (what? you only remember ever trick or treating one night in any given year? Me too, but welcome to Halloween in the new millennium my friends, when trick or treating happens repeatedly in all sorts of venues), although the girls still got to get decked out in their costumes for several other events.
John left for Brazil this week and between that and Halloween and me mis-timing some of my events (i.e., thinking posts would go up this week when actually they go up next week) I am again without anything to share. So I thought I would share just a few ideas for leftover Halloween candy that I have either tried or come across on the internet…
First we have the Peanut Butter Cookie Cups pictured above, stuffed with whatever candy floats your boat. For another stuffed cookie, check out these Peanut Butter Candy Bars:
Continuing with the theme of stuffing, we have:
Milk Chocolate Glazed Peanut Butter Cup Stuffed Bundtlettes

And for the ultimate in stuffed desserts, check out this amazing Piñata Cake from a subtle revelry:
And now for some creative UN-stuffed ideas:

And for the absolute most unique–and the one I want to try the most!:

Have fun with your candy!!!

Leftover treat ideas are always welcome! I’m about to hit up the sales at my local CVS so I need ideas for how to use it all up immediately. 😛

Such fun ways to use up extra candy! That is, if there IS any leftover 😉
